Your Role

The HSE Advisor plays a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation and verification of health, safety, and environmental measures within Thales. This position requires a proactive approach to engaging with shop floor personnel, promoting a culture of safety, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Engagement: Actively engage with shop floor personnel to promote a safety culture and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance and Assurance: Coordinate and participate in audit programs, manage IT systems for HSE compliance, and conduct health monitoring programs.
  • Support and Advisory: Provide advice and support on safety, injury management, WHS legislation, and environmental management to managers and workers.

Requirements

  • Minimum Certificate IV in WHS (or ability to obtain).
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with people at all levels.
  • Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft Office and relevant data management applications.
  • Sound working knowledge of HSE issues and compliance.
  • Previous experience within the Logistics and/or Defense industry would be highly advantageous.
