About the Role

We are seeking an intern to join our Finance team, where you will work on a number of current projects. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting, including tasks such as credit application processing, compliance, and treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the SGF Sales and Credit Team to ensure credit applications are decisioned within SG Fleet's credit policy
  • Assist the corporate credit team in assessing applications within policy
  • Ensure compliance and consistent application of policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Credit Risk Manager and the Head of Credit as required
  • Process urgent funding requests and payments, payee control requests, and authorise banking details
  • Reconcile debtors and creditors accounts, attend to internal and external enquiries regarding accounts, and reconcile general ledger accounts and Bank Accounts
