About the Role

As a valued member of the Finance team at Pure Source Recruitment Pty, you will be reporting to the Team Leader. This role is ideal for someone interested in a long-term career in business, office administration, or accounts. The ideal candidate will have some basic/entry-level skills but is keen to continue to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in uploading timesheets and maintaining accurate records
  • Accounts payable data entry - create and maintain suppliers, enter supplier invoices, match against purchase orders, and coding
  • Accounts receivable data entry and management
  • Petty cash duties and reconciliation
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and client project reporting as required by the consultants
  • Data entry of employee reimbursements and expense claims
  • Routine administration tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning

Requirements and Skills

  • You have a flexible and adaptable nature and work well in a team environment
  • This role will suit someone who is in the early stages of their career, with up to 12 months of experience
  • You enjoy working in a social and friendly team environment and have the ability to build warm relationships with your colleagues and peers
  • You are an enthusiastic learner who likes to work things out for yourself but will happily seek clarification when needed
  • Your customer service skills are excellent; you enjoy helping others and have a 'nothing is too much trouble' mindset
