About the Role

Squiz is seeking a highly skilled Lead Web Developer to join its professional services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality web development projects with a focus on frontend technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend web development, with experience in technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive the best possible results, and will work closely with the development team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of web applications and websites using frontend technologies
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers
  • Ensure that best practices are followed in all aspects of web development
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation
  • Provide estimates and manage project timelines
  • Mentor and train junior developers
  • Work closely with the Agile Project Manager to ensure that projects are delivered to the client's satisfaction
Requirements
  • Strong background in frontend web development, with experience in technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience in leading development teams and providing technical leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in working with Agile project management methodologies
