We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team for a 6-month contract. As a key member of our Front-End Development team, you will play a senior role in the evolution, performance optimization, and enhancement of our customer experience on our website.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement website components and content in Squiz Matrix CMS from supplied Figma designs in collaboration with the DX team.
  • Develop and implement website tests, as well as lead and instruct on best practices in building campaign landing pages, product pages, CMS modules, and widgets.
  • Participate in agile scrum methodologies, including daily standups, fortnightly sprint planning, and task elaboration, using Jira to manage your day-to-day work.
  • Build, optimize, and develop best-practice, user-centred experiences across our customer-facing web channels.
  • Perform CMS maintenance, website issue management, and resolution, as well as front-end coding in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and creation and modification of web page templates within a CMS.
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships in a professional, sustainable, and highly productive manner.

About You:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Front-End Web Developer.
  • Experience in Squiz Matrix CMS or other enterprise CMS.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and modern frameworks.
  • Experience with API integration.
  • Familiarity with UX principles and SEO requirements.
  • Preferably experienced in the financial services or other regulated industry, or at least a base level understanding of how financial products work.
  • Experience in Figma.
  • Agile (Scrum) and Jira experience.
  • Experience in mobile-first development.
