About the Opportunity

Hwl Ebsworth is seeking a dynamic and experienced Banking and Finance professional to join our Sydney team. As a Senior Associate or Special Counsel, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal advice to our clients in the Banking and Finance sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run deals from start to finish, operating autonomously with the support of partners and team.
  • Mentor and lead juniors and work closely with other B&F SAs, SCs and Partners on progressing the team, clients and matters.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Provide expert advice on complex Banking and Finance transactions, including linked bilateral, club and syndicated financings, senior/mezzanine finance and related intercreditor arrangements, debt advisory and tenders, IPO financings, construction and development finance, and acquisition finance, strategic debt investments, debt restructurings and recapitalisations.
