About the Role

NCS Australia is seeking a talented User Experience Designer to join our team. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing user-centric systems, products, and services that prioritize accessibility and usability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead research efforts through surveys, interviews, and usability studies to transform data into actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct usability testing, creating test scenarios and analyzing feedback to refine experiences while ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects, enhancing user experiences for diverse audiences.
  • Develop user-centered design solutions that meet strict accessibility and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in UX design with demonstrated success in designing user-centric systems, products, and services.
  • Experience working on projects in regulated environments, ideally with federal government standards for security, compliance, and reliability.
  • Strong background in conducting user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Ability to create test scenarios, recruit participants, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Experience with industry-standard design and prototyping tools.
  • Excellent ability to present research findings and design recommendations to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and adapt to diverse project requirements.
