Commercial Specialist Position

We are seeking a talented Commercial Specialist to contribute to the successful delivery of essential government contracts. As a key member, you will provide hands-on commercial and contract administration support across projects delivered under the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) in South Australia.

Key responsibilities include providing hands-on support across contract administration, entitlements, claims, and disputes, helping to manage commercial and contractual risk.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial or contract administration roles, ideally in infrastructure or services sectors.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration principles and systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify risks or opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills able to simplify complex contract terms into clear guidance.
  • Strong planning and time management skills, with an agile and collaborative approach.

About This Role

  • This is a key role that requires excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You will work closely with procurement and subcontract teams to establish agreements and manage downstream obligations.
  • This role involves maintaining contract registers, portals and correspondence, ensuring timely compliance with performance reporting, audits and stakeholder engagement.
  • You will also be responsible for interpreting financial and KPI models to support commercial decision-making.
