
Aviation Systems Specialist

The Aircraft Systems Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft systems, maintaining compliance with regulations and adhering to safety protocols.
Key aspects of this role include hands-on maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing, and fault-finding on complex aircraft systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient task completion, effective communication, and coordination with relevant stakeholders, as well as adherence to Quality Assurance procedures and meticulous documentation practices.
Core Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve efficient task completion and meet deadlines
- Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations, including DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) standards
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key partners, including Boeing customers and industry teams
- Adhere to rigorous quality control processes and maintain accurate records
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures)
- Australian citizenship to meet Defence security clearance requirements
- Current driver's license
- Desirable: Previous experience working with military aircraft or holding a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
