Key Responsibilities
  • High level of attention to detail is required due to the client's unique condition.
  • Personal care: Assist clients with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Also, help with mobility aids and equipment.
  • Medication management: Some clients may need assistance with medication administration ensuring they take prescribed medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Meal preparation: Plan and prepare meals for clients taking into account any dietary restrictions or special diets.
  • Household tasks: Assist with household chores like cleaning, laundry, and shopping to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment for clients.
  • Transportation: Help clients with transportation needs, including driving them to appointments, activities, or social outings.
  • Emotional and social support: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients engaging in activities and conversations that promote social and emotional well-being.
  • Assistive devices: Assist clients in using various assistive devices like wheelchairs, hearing aids, communication devices, or prosthetic limbs.
