Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop firmware solutions for wearable tracking hardware.
  2. Lead a team of engineers in developing firmware solutions.
  3. Develop Linux kernel for ARM Cortex-A hardware platforms and wireless firmware for ARM Cortex hardware platforms.
  4. Implement DevOps practices, engineering processes, and design discussions to improve quality and efficiency.
  5. Drive best practices around code quality and organization throughout the entire development process.

Requirements:

  1. Formal qualifications in electronics or software engineering.
  2. At least 5-10 years of firmware development experience.
  3. Demonstrated experience programming with C, C++, and Python.
  4. Demonstrated Linux (e.g., Yocto/PetaLinux) experience, including building the kernel, developing custom kernels, device trees, and developing Linux drivers.
  5. Demonstrated experience with common wireless communications standards and protocols.
  6. Experience developing products, scaling them, and supporting them throughout the entire lifecycle.
