About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Advantaged Care. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the total care of our residents, including the planning, assessment, evaluation, and delivery of care tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that promote independence and a welcoming atmosphere for residents.
- Collaborate with the Care Manager and Facility Manager to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and develop effective care strategies.
- Provide exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in aged care, adhering to the 8 new quality standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in aged care.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- 1-2 years of Registered Nursing experience in Aged Care, preferably.
- Strong passion for quality in aged care and commitment to delivering exceptional resident care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and administration/documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and flexibility to cover shifts.
- Strong values of Empathy, Honesty, Respect, and Loyalty.

Selection Criteria:
