Event Rigging Specialist

The Opportunity

As an Event Rigging Specialist, you will execute various rigging tasks, assist the rigging team on larger events, and lead smaller events. You will work in a hospitality or convention center environment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring safety.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare rigging equipment, tools, and safety gear according to event requirements, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
  • Ensure safe execution of rigging, adhering to legislative, manufacturer, and industry best practices.
  • Dismantle and store equipment properly after use, reporting any defective items.
  • Interpret rigging plots, CAD plans, and calculate loads with ease.

Qualifications
  • Experience in the Events Industry
  • EWP & Intermediate Riggers ticket
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with load calculations highly regarded
  • Previous experience supervising a rigging team highly valued
  • Customer-focused and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
