The Challenge:

We are seeking an experienced Magazine Editor with a passion for RV travel and lifestyle. In this role, you'll be managing freelance contributors, overseeing editorial processes, and ensuring high-quality, engaging content for our monthly issues.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage freelance journalists and ensure timely content delivery.
  • Source and edit articles and images for each issue.
  • Lead the editorial process, making decisions to maximize content value.
  • Work closely with the Content Lead to align the magazine's direction with the overall vision.
  • Coordinate with our design team to support the magazine's design process.
  • Assess current publication practices and propose improvements for content quality and operational efficiency.
  • Support revenue creation initiatives.
Required Skills
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an editor or assistant editor role.
  • Strong background in magazine editing and content operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
  • Enthusiasm about RV travel, lifestyle, and related content would be advantageous.
