Requirements

  • Availability Monday - Friday, possibly weekend work
  • Minimum 25 hours per week availability
  • Minimum 1 year of previous experience in aged care, disability, home & community care
  • Experience in providing care for aged care or disability clients
  • Knowledge of person-centred care principles and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Must be located and willing to travel up to 30 minutes within desirable areas
  • Must have a mobile smartphone and be able to navigate through various applications

Qualifications

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
  • Valid driver's license, access to a reliable car with fully comprehensive insurance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
  • Valid National Police Check
  • Updated First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or the willingness to obtain one
  • Blue Card

The hourly rate is from $38.29 + shift loadings + superannuation.

Guaranteed work hours available for candidates with relevant qualifications.

Ongoing support and supervision by our dedicated Care Coordination Team.
