Care Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to provide support to individuals with disabilities.

  • The successful candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming.
  • Provide transportation assistance to clients.
  • Offer respite care to clients and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary support to maintain their well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' care plans and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team, fostering strong relationships built on trust and respect.
Key Qualifications:
  • A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate 3 in individual support or higher (or willing to work towards completion).
  • Lived experience or paid experience working with people with disabilities, demonstrating a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care.
  • A strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines, enabling the effective implementation of client-centered care.
  • An ability to work with a diverse client base, recognizing and respecting individual needs based on abilities, cultural backgrounds, and language requirements.
