Mechanical Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Mechanical Operations Supervisor to oversee the operations of our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of mechanics, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews.
  • Plan, prioritize, and oversee campervan repair and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring availability to meet operational needs.
  • Track and report on workshop performance metrics, including repair turnaround times.
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, preferably in campervans or similar vehicles. Knowledge of stock and spare part management systems. Budget management experience and a results-oriented approach. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

The Role: Our Mechanical Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our workshop, coordinating a team of mechanics, establishing repair priorities, managing spare parts and stocks, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

What You'll Do
  1. Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of mechanics, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance reviews.
  2. Workshop Operations: Plan, prioritize, and oversee campervan repair and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  3. Inventory And Spare Parts Management: Monitor stock levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring availability to meet operational needs.
  4. Budget And Reporting: Track and report on workshop performance metrics, including repair turnaround times.
  5. Safety And Compliance: Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations.
