Job Title: Data Architect

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team at Luxoft. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable data architectures to support advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and high-performance data architectures using Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent platforms.
  • Develop data models and schemas to support business requirements and analytics needs.
  • Oversee the integration of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Provide guidance and support for data governance, including data security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Optimize data processing and storage solutions to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data architecture issues, ensuring reliable data access and availability.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and tools to improve data architecture and management practices.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent data platforms.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing data architectures and data models.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
  • Proven ability to optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with other cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
  • Knowledge of data modeling tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience with machine learning or advanced analytics platforms.
  • Relevant certifications in Snowflake, Databricks, or other data management technologies.
  • Understanding of big data technologies and distributed computing.
