Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ecological Restoration Team Leader to oversee all aspects of on-ground ecological restoration in the Northern Beaches area. This key role is responsible for managing a team of professionals, developing and implementing effective restoration plans, maintaining high-quality work standards, and ensuring timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of ecological restoration professionals to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and implement effective restoration plans and strategies that meet project requirements.
  • Maintain high-quality work standards and ensure timely completion of projects through efficient resource allocation and management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Site Supervisor or Team Leader in ecological restoration or related field.
  • Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent.
  • AQF3 Chemical handler's certificate.
  • First Aid certificate.
  • WHS White Card.
  • Current drivers' license and experience driving a manual vehicle.
  • Excellent bush regeneration skills, including plant knowledge.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and problem-solving abilities.
