Steel Rigger / Boilermaker Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Steel Rigger / Boilermaker to join our team on various steel erection and rigging projects across Melbourne.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting structural and fabrication drawings, performing steel erection and rigging tasks safely and efficiently, connecting steel structures accurately and to specifications, carrying out setting out and marking out of steel, working closely with cranes and lifting operations, and collaborating effectively with other team members on-site.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in rigging and steel erection
  • Ability to read and understand construction and steel fabrication plans
  • Physically fit and able to handle demanding work
  • Valid Rigging High-Risk Work Licence
  • EWP (Elevated Work Platform) ticket
  • Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Own ABN (subcontractor arrangement)
  • Own tools and equipment required for the job
  • Boilermaker/Fabrication trade qualification is highly regarded
  • Setting out skills are a strong advantage
  • Ability to work well in a team and take initiative
