Blaster - Mobile Operations Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Sprint Operations team in Hunter Valley, NSW.
This role involves operating a Mobile Manufacturing Unit (MMU) to pump explosive product into pre-drilled blast holes on customer sites.
You will also assist and provide direction, supervision, and guidance to the Blast Crew in the process of loading, tying, and firing large shots.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating the MMU vehicle and other associated blasting plant and machinery;
- Assisting with preventative maintenance;
- Delivering explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes on bench;
- Working collaboratively with teammates to provide excellent service to valued customers;
- Daily administration and customer interactions.
In addition, you will be responsible for providing operational blasting knowledge, direction, and advice to Orica's blast crews and associated stakeholders.
Key Requirements- An unquestionable commitment to working safely as a priority;
- Experience operating an MMU or similar blast delivery vehicle;
- A current HR Licence;
- A positive team-orientated work ethic;
- A positive attitude to customer service.
