We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Assistant to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care prior to, during and after medical procedures. This will involve working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of diagnostic imaging services.

The majority of your work will be clinical in nature, with a small amount of administrative duties. You will be expected to help out across all modalities including CT, Ultrasound & MRI where required.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Confirming patient appointments & any pre-appointment instructions via telephone
  • Retrieving outside imaging studies
  • Preparing patients for procedures
  • Assisting with the positioning of patients during procedures
  • Assisting technical staff members during clinical procedures
  • Stock control
  • Cleaning and housekeeping duties
  • Administrative duties as required

  • A caring, compassionate nature
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering high quality patient care
  • A willingness to train in IV cannulation
  • The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Outstanding communication and time management skills
  • Computer literacy
  • The ability to work under pressure in an ever-changing environment
