About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and courageous professional to lead the Head of House Team and support their work in promoting student wellbeing.

This is an opportunity for commencement at the start of the 2025 school year, where you will be responsible for the wellbeing of students in your care.

You will offer one-to-one and team coaching and support for the Head of House Team to build their capacity to address the specific needs of students.

Working closely with the Director of Student Wellbeing, you will ensure successful implementation of strategies that support staff to enable student wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will require a deep understanding of the principles that impact wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and uphold the Catholic Identity of the College
  • Lead the Head of House Team to be responsible for the wellbeing of students in their House
  • Offer one-to-one and team coaching and support for the Head of House Team
  • Work closely with the Director of Student Wellbeing to implement strategies that support staff to enable student wellbeing

Requirements

  • Ability to promote and uphold the Catholic Identity of the College
  • Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school, or a willingness to undertake accreditation to teach in a Catholic school
  • VICTorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) full registration
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of the learning and teaching pedagogy associated with the Victorian Curriculum
  • Ability to deepen the work they lead and connect it to the College Game Plan and Playbook
  • Ability to embrace and demonstrate our values of respect, curiosity, gratitude, and hope through word and action
