Senior IAM Strategist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee our Workforce IAM function. This role is responsible for providing strategic direction, oversight, and governance for workforce identity and access management (IAM) initiatives within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leadership roles, with a focus on identity and access management or related disciplines. They will possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving large-scale initiatives to successful outcomes.

This senior role will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing the strategic vision and roadmap for workforce identity and access management (IAM) initiatives, aligning with organisational goals and industry best practices.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to execute IAM projects and strategic vision, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project objectives.
  • Providing oversight and governance for IAM solutions, monitoring performance, compliance, and risk factors.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritise IAM requirements, advocating for resources and support as needed.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the IAM team, promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Suitable candidates must also have the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. The role can be based in Canberra, QLD or SA, with the option to work from home after approval.
