Geotechnical Engineer Role

We are seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will collect and control geotechnical data, develop engineering skills, and receive mentoring within a leading gold mining company.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in a 2-year program focused on the collection and control of geotechnical data.
  • Develop skills and understanding of all facets of Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Gain both practical and office-based experience.
  • Receive mentoring and guidance from experienced mining professionals.
  • Engage with various teams to support geotechnical operations.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Practical experience or vacation work advantageous.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
  • A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • A National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
  • The ability to pass pre-employment process including medical and drug and alcohol screening right to work checks and provision of valid documentation.
