Job Title: Maintenance Leadership Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance leader to oversee our mechanical, electrical, and contractor teams.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy industry or mining, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role. They must also possess excellent communication and team development skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading maintenance activities across kiln, mining, and site facilities.
  • Supervising mechanical, electrical, and contractor teams.
  • Managing preventative and unplanned maintenance, shutdowns, and compliance.
  • Ensuring safety standards, regulatory requirements, and performance targets are met.
  • Driving continuous improvement and team development.

Requirements

  • Mechanical trade background with at least 5 years' experience in heavy industry or mining.
  • Proven leadership experience in a 24/7 manufacturing or processing environment.
  • Certificate IV in Leadership or equivalent (highly regarded).
  • Statutory Supervisor Certificate of Competency.
  • Knowledge of risk management, regulatory compliance, and asset maintenance strategies.
  • Strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to manage contractors, budgets, and planning systems effectively.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and team development skills.
