Unlock a challenging role as a Water Professional where you will play a pivotal part in supporting mine operations through designing, managing and optimizing water-related infrastructure projects.

">Key Responsibilities

This includes developing surface water management plans, building and maintaining water models to identify and mitigate water-related risks, providing expert advice on mine dewatering and water supply planning, contributing technical input and assessments for mining proposals and regulatory submissions, managing and analysing hydrological and environmental monitoring data, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: A recognised tertiary degree in civil engineering or a scientific degree majoring in water management is essential. Relevant experience in open-cut mining hydrological and hydraulic modelling, sound computer skills with industry-standard software, TUFLOW model development experience, demonstrated competency in pressurised system modelling using specialised software and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team are highly valued.

Additional requirements include excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
