Shutdown Trades Assistant

We are seeking skilled Trade Assistants to join our client's team in the Bowen Basin region. Our client is a specialist mining maintenance company with a strong history of providing high-quality heavy equipment maintenance solutions to mining projects and other heavy industry.
They are seeking experienced shutdown trade assistants to support their team during shutdowns and outages at various mine sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment during shutdowns and outages.
- Work in a team environment to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with experienced tradespeople to achieve project goals.
- Participate in site inductions and adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a trade assistant in a similar industry.
- Current standard 11 (mandatory) and coal board medical (mandatory) certifications.
- Previous experience with mine site inductions at Callide and Dawson mine sites is highly desirable.
- Glencore Generic Induction and inductions at other sites are advantageous.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of $40/hr + pens.
- Accommodation and meals provided on rostered shifts.
- 3 hours paid travel weekly for commuting workers.
