About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team as a Personal Care Worker. This role involves delivering a range of personal care tasks, including daily hygiene, showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal care tasks with empathy and understanding.
  • Observe residents' conditions and report changes to Enrolled Nurses or Registered Nurses, Facility Managers or appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain residents' privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
  • Assist residents who require assistance with mobility as per their care plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III Aged Care or Individual Support qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A good understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Infection Control principles.
  • A desire to work in a supportive and inclusive environment.
