We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to deliver top-quality patient care in a high-stakes environment. This position requires strong clinical background, dedication to excellence, and ability to assess patient needs, administer treatments, and coordinate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative functions of the clinic.
- Coordinate with technical representatives regarding operations.
- Apply professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques to patient care.
- Deliver compassionate, advanced clinical care, and make rapid, informed decisions to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Understand healthcare protocols, conduct patient assessments, and develop care plans.
- Effectively manage complex cases.
- Precept and mentor junior staff, sharing training and teaching expertise.
- Builtrapid rapport with patients and team members through strong interpersonal skills.
- Perform laboratory procedures, including sample collection and analysis.
- Provide routine, urgent, and emergency care.
- Triage patients and offer medical advice within scope of practice.
- Conduct blood pressure, weight measurements, EKGs, blood draws, and urine sample collection.
- Manage reports, mail, and documentation of the clinic.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization standards of the clinic.
- Complete required education for certifications.
- Proven leadership and clinical skills, with the ability to guide and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Expertise in clinical practice with a patient-centered approach.
- Strong communication skills and empathetic demeanor.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a registered/licensed nurse.
- At least 3 years of experience managing and supervising nursing staff.
- Work primarily performed in an office/clinic environment.
- Prolonged sitting and standing, with occasional bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs.
Must be a US, UK, or Australian citizen. Willingness to relocate to Alice Springs, Australia for the contract duration. Valid passport required prior to relocation and must be maintained during stay.
