Key Responsibilities
  • Take on full end-to-end store accountability for driving sales, building customer relationships, and managing store KPIs and promotions.
  • Influence, motivate, and inspire high-performing teams to deliver exceptional retail experiences and service to customers.
  • Leverage solid retail skills to ensure fundamentals are exceptionally executed, including full stock on shelf, cleanliness, customer service, VM, inventory management, and loss prevention.
  • Communicate effectively and positively with the store team to execute change initiatives and implement new ideas.
  • Develop relationships in the local community and build on untapped commercial sales opportunities.
  • Consistently improve current systems, processes, and control measures to ensure full retail operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Credible and engaging Senior Store/Regional/Area/Cluster Manager with a large format/big box retail background.
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead retail teams to achieve success.
  • Customer-obsessed with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong operational skills across inventory planning and management, as well as shrewd financial control.
  • Leadership ability to drive and lead change, with a focus on people and partnerships.
  • Driven, determined, and committed to delivering results.
  • Sound business acumen with a deep understanding of P&Ls and financial levers.
  • Brilliant communication skills with the ability to translate vision into day-to-day operational performance.
  • A change agent with the ability to transform key operational aspects and people elements to ensure sustainability, future viability, growth, and profitability.
  • Authentic and down-to-earth with a non-hierarchical approach.
