Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations and electrical maintenance services on a range of Hitachi machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems
  • Liaise with technical support staff to achieve efficient outcomes and assist in product improvements
  • Complete and submit relevant documentation and reporting paperwork
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers, peers, and other departments
Requirements
  • A strong safety focus and commitment to adhering to site safety processes
  • Relevant trade certificate – High Voltage Electrician
  • At least 12 months experience working on mining trucks
  • Intermediate PC skills with the ability to analyze technical data and reports
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong ability to adapt to different teams, rosters, environments, and workloads

About the Role

This is a permanent position working an even time 6 on/6 off roster. You will be based out of our Gunnedah Branch but will spend most of your time working between multiple sites supporting our customers' fleets, shutdowns, and ensuring the reliability of Hitachi machinery throughout the area.
