About the Position:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to work as a Personal Care Assistant in our facility. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality personal care to residents based on their unique needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily tasks and activities, personal care, and mobility, working collaboratively with the care team to develop and deliver personalized care plans that promote independence and confidence in residents.

Additionally, you will support residents with meals and drinks, encourage them to make informed choices about their lifestyle and activities of daily living, and nurture meaningful relationships by recognizing and respecting each resident's individuality.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently using sound best practice skills, good interpersonal, and communication skills.

About You:

To be successful in this position, you should possess experience in a personal care role, hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care, and demonstrate a strong understanding of dementia requirements and challenging behaviors.

A Senior First Aid Certificate and AN-ACC requirements are highly desirable but not essential for consideration.
