Key Responsibilities
  • Roster, train, and performance manage a team of multi-skilled operators.
  • Assess, procure, and manage delivery of parts and equipment needed for project requirements.
  • Assist with the arrangement of additional contractors when required, ensuring correct documentation is provided.
  • Monitor all site operations, ensuring they are completed to the highest quality and meet QA standards.
  • Undertake and oversee strict daily recording of all project/site activities.
  • Ensure all tools, plant, and equipment are being diligently maintained and cleaned by the team.
  • Manage on-site adherence to company safety systems and worksite compliance.
About You

We are looking for a solutions-focussed individual with hands-on experience in a farming, civil, resource, or other similar industry. You will have strong leadership skills and a desire to further your career within the business. A background in agriculture is highly desirable, but those with experience in the mining/resources sector will be highly regarded.

Requirements
  • Solutions-focussed and flexible, actively demonstrating the ability to find innovative alternative solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and site personnel alike.
  • Versatile skills surrounding general farm maintenance and development (i.e. basic welding and mechanical maintenance, fencing, machinery operation, etc).
  • Excellent planning and record-keeping skills, including the efficient use of various computer systems and software.
  • Civil / Agricultural machinery experience (Excavator, Bobcat, Trencher, Tractor, Bulldozer, etc).
  • Experience in the installation of irrigation systems and application of agricultural chemicals (highly desirable).
  • HR / HC truck licence (not essential, though highly desirable).
  • Full Australian working rights.
