Senior Business Services Accountant

Lead Group, a renowned business advisory firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Services Accountant to join their team in Brisbane. As a key member of the Business Services and Advisory team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop a unique blend of taxation, management accounting, and professional services skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT, or payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
- Utilize a range of accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, to deliver high-quality services.
- Provide tax planning and business advisory services to clients, analyzing financial and non-financial information to assist clients in monitoring performance.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and promote the firm and its services through quality product delivery.
- Identify potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promote the firm and its services to both clients and associates.
- Contribute to team training and mentoring, helping to grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Business Services, with strong technical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field, with working towards or completed CA/CPA qualifications.
- A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Expertise in accounting software, including APS, MYOB, and cloud-based tools, such as Xero and QuickBooks.
- Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency status, or work rights in Australia.
