Pullman Palm Cove Sea Temple Resort & Spa, a luxurious retreat located on the stunning southern end of Palm Cove beach, is seeking a talented Restaurant and Bar Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, gastronomic proficiency, and a talent for providing extraordinary guest experiences. As a key member of the resort's management team, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

The renowned Temple of Tastes restaurant offers sophisticated cuisine and award-winning service, setting the stage for unforgettable meals. The Lagoon Bar, nestled beside our expansive pool, provides a vibrant atmosphere where guests can unwind with refreshing cocktails and light snacks. For those seeking privacy, our in-room dining service delivers indulgent meals directly to their elegant accommodations.

The resort also boasts versatile conference and event spaces, accommodating up to 80 guests. From dream weddings to corporate gatherings, you will contribute to creating seamless and memorable events.

As Restaurant & Bar Manager, you will assume full responsibility for managing every facet of our Restaurant & Bar Areas. This role offers you a unique platform to demonstrate your exceptional leadership abilities, gastronomic expertise, and talent for providing exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the Restaurant & Bar areas and develop innovative strategies for optimising guest experience and revenue growth opportunities
  • Leverage your extensive expertise to guide and mentor your team, ensuring they consistently craft memorable moments
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef in creating menus, wine lists, and beverage offerings
  • Manage all administrative and planning aspects of the department, including scheduling, reporting, package and promotion development, recruitment, personnel management, inventory management, and ordering

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as either a Restaurant & Bar Manager or Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager
  • Robust leadership skills to engage, inspire, and cultivate your team, fostering a positive workplace atmosphere
  • Proven track record in managing budgets, overseeing inventory, and creating staff schedules
  • Effective communicator with adept skills in stakeholder management, both internally and externally
  • Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a knack for prioritisation and a keen sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness when faced with high-pressure situations
  • Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification
