About the Role
">We are seeking an experienced Gerontological Nurse to join our team as a Registered Nurse Grade 4. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to our elderly residents, working collaboratively with our Quality and Clinical Care Managers.
">As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and support to personal care staff, while also assisting in the management of resident care plans and ensuring that all necessary assessments and care activities are completed electronically.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Provide clinical supervision and support to personal care staff
- Assist in the management of resident care plans
- Complete and delegate required assessments and care planning activities electronically
- Responsible for the supervision and administration of medications in accordance with current policy and accreditation standards
About You
">You have experience in gerontological nursing and possess strong observational and written assessment skills. You are able to work effectively in a team environment and possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
">Requirements
">- Qualified Registered Nurse with current registration and sound knowledge of ANACC and the accreditation process
- Experience in gerontological nursing and current practices
- Demonstrated experience in the supervision, training, and coaching of staff
- Strong observational and written assessment skills
