Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to drive MR or HR Trucks locally and be part of the best transport team in the region.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and is self-driven with a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport general freight to support our local community with excellent customer service
- Complete necessary paperwork, including pre-start checks, run sheets, PODs, and logbooks
- Utilize IT platforms such as PDAs to scan freight and capture live signatures
- Perform manual handling tasks, including opening/closing gates and pulling curtains
- Follow established standards, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure smooth and accurate deliveries
Qualifications
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work safely and follow all relevant regulations
