We are seeking a motivated lawyer to handle defendant medical malpractice and professional indemnity matters.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years of insurance litigation experience from a defendant firm
  • Some prior medical malpractice, regulatory, and/or professional indemnity exposure or a keen interest to learn
  • Ability to draft, advise, and negotiate in relation to both straightforward and complex matters
  • Advisory experience in policy response and complex coverage issues for insurers
  • Exposure to business development and ability to build strong client relationships
  • Assisting in client tenders when appropriate
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Methodical and organised approach to file management
