Job Title: Theatre Support Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Theatre Support Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to support patient care and theatre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport patients between wards, theatres, recovery, and other clinical areas.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of operating suites.
  • Assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and infection control procedures.
  • Support clinical teams with tasks such as transferring patients and maintaining stock levels.
  • Manage waste removal, cleaning duties, and messenger services throughout the hospital.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an operating theatre environment or willingness to learn necessary skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and across morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing, in a healthcare setting.
