Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Service Operations Manager to lead a team of technicians and guarantee the quality of work.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure customer demands are fully investigated and solutions are provided that benefit both customers and employers.

This role will be responsible for effective and efficient coordination of all matters relating to customers, including sourcing of labour, scheduling, pricing, and invoicing of work required ensuring customer needs are met within agreed timeframes.

  • Maintaining and developing new customer contacts is crucial to our success.
  • Scheduling and allocating work orders for the technical team is a key function of this role.
  • Roster management, review, and approval of timesheets require strong organizational skills.
  • Providing leadership to a small team of specialists focusing on marine and industrial applications is an exciting opportunity.
  • Effective planning of labour to ensure productivity targets are achieved requires strong analytical skills.
  • A continuous improvement approach to all areas of responsibility is essential in this role.
  • Providing technical support for the technical team is a critical function of this role.
Requirements
  • Trade certified mechanic or electrician with significant post-trade experience in CAT equipment.
  • Strong people management, mentoring, and leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize conflicting priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships.
  • Highly developed communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal).
