Project Finance Officer Position

This is a temporary, full-time role requiring immediate start. We seek a candidate to provide comprehensive project financial services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Monitor project and operational expenditures to ensure accurate charge applications according to work orders.
  • Supplier Transactional Services: Manage supplier interactions, including requisitioning, purchasing, payments, and resolving supplier inquiries and complaints.
  • Monthly Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare end-of-month financial reports and analyze data for informed decision-making.
  • System Administration: Maintain and update financial and administrative data in SAP and other internal systems.
  • Employee Time Management: Manage employee time sheets and ensure accurate allowances and entitlements are applied according to relevant awards, work agreements, and departmental policies.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in finance or bookkeeping is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
  • Prior experience with SAP would be advantageous.
  • Payroll knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Detailed-oriented approach is required.

This role is based on the Gold Coast and requires 36 hours of work per week, with potential for extension.
