The Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and flexible team, providing a variety of GP sessions, ED cover, ward rounds, and on-call work. The multi-purpose service has 4 ED & 4 Acute beds, 1 respite bed, and a 19-bed residential aged care service.

The Location

Lightning Ridge is a unique and eccentric town, known for its glass house made from bottles, iron church, and underground museum. The town has a rich history and a strong sense of community, making it an ideal place to live and work.

Essential Criteria

You must be a vocationally registered GP (FRACGP or FACRRM) with recent rural emergency experience and a current ALS2 (or equivalent) certificate.
