Embedded Linux Expert

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Linux Expert to expand our reach in mission-critical industries.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Linux, distribution packaging, software design, system debugging and bringing customer ideas to life.

The Embedded Linux Expert will work closely with customers to gather requirements and explain our technology. They will also contribute to the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and willing to travel to China regularly. They will also have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging customers during presales to gather requirements and explain our technology
  • Elaborating solutions to be proposed to prospective clients
  • Contributing to the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux
  • Conveying market requirements to key stakeholders and participating in developing or refining generic solutions to unlock market potential

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Mandarin
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Extensive Linux experience – Debian or Ubuntu preferred
  • Distribution/Packaging experience (deb, rpm, ...)
  • Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot...)
  • Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
  • Professional written and spoken English in addition to the local language
