AA Appointments is a leading travel recruitment specialist seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow retail travel partnerships. This exciting opportunity requires a professional with strong sales and relationship-building skills.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing strategies to increase business and new partnerships with independent retail partners, leveraging their industry expertise to drive sales growth and mentor the sales team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to expand existing partnerships and secure new clients;
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with management, marketing, and support teams to achieve business objectives;
  • Utilizing industry knowledge to identify opportunities for growth and providing recommendations to senior leadership;

Additionally, this role involves:

  • Traveling extensively to meet with retail partners and maintain strong working relationships;
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to ensure the company remains competitive;
  • Contributing to the development of sales training programs to enhance the skills of the sales team.

    • Previous experience in leisure account management or BDM roles within the travel industry;

    Based on industry standards and comparable roles, we estimate the salary for this position to be approximately $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, plus performance-based bonuses.
