Your key responsibilities will include building and maintaining data services and pipelines using industry best practices. You'll have opportunities to learn about the business, automate testing and delivery, and ensure high code quality, testing, and security standards are met.

As a Data Engineer, you'll identify customer impacts when making technical decisions and conduct respectful code reviews to ensure maintainability. You'll also participate in incident management, team roster activities, and own issues raised.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Experience leading features from inception to production
  • Strong background in Java; any other language is also beneficial
  • Understanding of all aspects of managing data, including reconciliations, operations, data governance, extraction with CDC
  • Experience tackling complex bug fixes
  • Solid knowledge in software design and object orientation
  • Computer science education or equivalent experience
  • Elastic search experience is a plus

We offer a competitive salary of approximately **$140,000** per annum, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy hybrid and flexible working arrangements, one wellbeing leave day per year, and up to five additional days leave based on length of service.
