About The Role

Role type: Permanent, full time

Role location: Sunshine Coast branch locations

As a Home Loan Specialist, you'll be a key contributor to achieving customer success in home lending. You'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with customers, support them through the home loan journey, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  1. Support customers to save for, buy, and own their own home or investment property
  2. Build strong relationships with customers to coach them through the home loan journey
  3. Deliver exceptional customer experience
  4. Gain excellent transferrable lending skills which can take you many places within the bank and across the financial services industry

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated residential lending and retail banking experience
  • Experience working in a sales role that has financial targets and building a pipeline of prospective business
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and relationship building expertise, coupled with the desire to build your network and promote the brand
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to effectively network to build customer and community connections
  • Financial savvy, with a keen attention to detail
  • An active user and promoter of technology to educate customers about digital solutions
  • The ability to multi-task and be highly adaptable to change and ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills, coupled with great presentation and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive attitude and the desire to be part of a productive, supportive and collaborative team environment
