Job Title: Safety and Quality Advisor

CHC Helicopter is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Quality Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Safety and Quality Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the S&Q management in delivering operational risk functions, including DSRM, Safety Reporting, and Metric development.
  • Provide reporting statistics and data on the SMS and HESS systems performance.
  • Oversight and follow-up of SMS activities with departmental heads and staff to ensure safety actions are completed.
  • Foster and develop professional relationships and trust through effective engagement of the organisation departments.
  • Support administrative functions, including document control and safety promotion material.
  • Contribute to the SMS continuous improvement program.
  • Contribute to data, statistics, and information in support of commercial tenders and contracts.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in WHS or Diploma in aviation or other relevant field is desirable.
  • Experience working in a safety and quality environment is desirable.
  • Experience in administration within an aviation environment is required.
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a focus on quality and customer service.
