Aboriginal Social Emotional Wellbeing Clinician Opportunity
The Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN) is seeking an experienced Aboriginal Social Emotional Wellbeing Clinician or Worker to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) forensic service.
This role will be providing services at the Youth Court, Kurlana Tapa Youth Justice Centre and will involve some afterhours work including Saturdays.
About the Role:
The successful applicant will provide culturally sensitive support to Aboriginal children, young people and their families. They will use their knowledge of Aboriginal culture and life experience to develop and implement social and emotional wellbeing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing culturally sensitive support to Aboriginal children, young people and their families
- Developing and implementing social and emotional wellbeing programs
- Working effectively with Aboriginal communities
Requirements:
- Experience working with Aboriginal children, young people and their families
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with Aboriginal communities
- Ability to develop and implement social and emotional wellbeing programs
