The Role:
Northern Health's Kilmore site is in search of Environmental Services Assistants to enhance our team.

The Environmental Services Assistant plays a crucial role within the facility, collaborating with other staff to perform a variety of clinical and non-clinical cleaning tasks that contribute to the health and safety of patients, staff, and visitors. This position requires effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively and flexibly to ensure the smooth operation of the Health Service.

This is a casual position with potential for permanent part-time opportunities in the future.

  • Understanding of infection prevention and control in healthcare settings
  • Experience with cleaning protocols and the use of cleaning agents in an environmental cleaning context
  • Availability to work across all days of the week, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
